I need to share images of the black 2.0 results. The company emailed me about it and said they would like feedback to put into black 3.0. This paint is an acrylic base and has a custom binder which apparently holds more pigment than normal paint. I personally think that this stuff is loaded with a very low micron count Carbon Black. I used it to coat the insides of some black anodized camera adapters and then tested them with a 700nm and a 900nm ir bandpass filter with a full spectrum monochrome debayered 60d. They certainly passed the test. Visually the paint is much less reflective than other paints I have used which include black chalkboard paint, matte black enamel paint, and matte camo spray paint in black.

I wish this stuff was around when I was building and writing about my Definitive Newtonian Reflector a few years ago. My hands are too far gone now to redo the tube.
