Maybe reach out to Orion and see why this scope is a second. THis has similar specs with the good focuser as the Zhummel Z8 with a pretty blue OTA. $374 with free shipping and warranty

I'd second Jon's suggestion of the Orion second (pun intended) assuming there is not "second" issue (sorry). Full disclosure that I do not have that model, but the extras on that scope look to me to be well worth going $25 over your budget. It has a dual speed focuser (probably at least a $150 value), actual knobs for collimating primary and secondary (would run maybe $40 or more from Bob's Knobs), and a lighter weight base. Only thing you would need is a better finder if you don't like the RDF.

I'm just a beginner, what do I know but I'd seriously re-evaluate your budget and consider spending more. If you can find a 8-12 inch dob for your budget, more power to you. Maybe evaluate a larger scope, and spending more initially. You get what you pay for usually, and $350 is about as cheap as it gets in this hobby.
I would hate to see you spend your $350 and wish you would have gotten something bigger. I'd really consider evaluating your budget. This can be a expensive hobby, but you buy the gear and you are set
Pretty much expect all recommendations for a 8 inch dob, with your price range.

Especially if that re-evaluation leads to that 8" SkyWatcher Dob for $355!
Or a Zhumell Z8 Deluxe for $399.

Comes with a ton of good accessories.

I seriously doubt the Skywatcher is going to be $225 better-especially since one can usually negotiate a better price than originally asked for most secondhand items. Would be surprising if the Bushnell seller turned down an even $100.Local to Cincinnati are several dob but "sellers" wanting $350 for used 8" or half that for one without base!

There is a perhaps caution regarding Bushnell scopes:however my Bushnells all seem good and certainly the Ares 6 was excellent.
There is something about new versus the unknown of used. I've purchased used, and I don't have any issues with it, but then again, I purchased from a CN user, and a scope that I could research and know about before I bought. I don't know anything about Bushnell telescopes. I DO know about Bushnell rifle scopes, and I've never really been pleased with them. Kind of hard to screw up a Dob, though, but a new 8" Dob with accessories for $355 isn't a bad deal.

My personal belief the Z8 is one of the best bangs for the buck on a new telescope out there right now. Though, it seems to have just gone up in price?
