50mm Binoculars vs. FirstScope
« on: December 27, 2017, 10:46:20 AM »
Not a beginner, but I'm writing something and I'm wondering which is better for beginners with $50 or less - the FirstScope or 50mm binos? 50mm binoculars require a tripod to be as steady, and both are equally matched in light-gathering.

7x50s provide too big of an exit pupil if you're over 30, and 10x50s are near-impossible to hold steady enough.
