Wow, beautiful scope! The general rule on tighteners is snug, but never more than snug.

You got a very good telescope for visual observing, and access to skies that are the envy of most of Europe and N. America. Clear skies and savor first light with your new telescope. You'll be amazed at what will be visible under dark skies.

If you use too much force on the tighteners you'll either strip the threads or crack the plastic so as jgraham says "snug" is correct. Until you get used to the correct force required test the tightening by putting a "reasonable" amount of downward force on it before trusting it to support your scope. There have been a few sad threads on this forum about users scopes being damaged when they hit the ground! Have fun with your new scope!

Ha ha, someone is HOOKED!

Glad you're enjoying it, Colt. Have fun, the sky, in this case, literally IS the limit.
