Think its was worth just under a grand? I left the 2 counterweights on the table, so they aren't in the picture.

Looking hard, striking when the time is right. This makes 3 iOptron mounts in the house! I was told it was a pro, but I have no idea how to tell if it is or not. I think the check the balance with the hand controller is cool, but I doubt I will ever use the Alt Az mode. I was also glad to see a cigar lighter cord with it! If the battery counterweight doesn't make it in time I'm going to be using that. I have a trip out west for some dark skies in just over a week.

Don't know where I got this from, but I thought you ordered this new from iOptron?

Nope, was a like new one. TBH it looks like it hasn't been used at all.

Yeah, seems really solid and smooth, and the carrying case was a big bonus I did not expect! It's good though because I have carrying cases for all of them now.

Is that a 45 or a 45Pro? For a Pro, that's a great price, for the 45 it's OK.

Where I bought it says it is a pro, but I don't know how to tell. I know it is solid and looks like it was never used. I got it from OPT, so I'll believe them on what they say it is. The controller is an 8407+ so I suppose that's a good thing.

I hate to break the news to you, but it's a left handed mount.
That's why every picture points left.
Now you need to find a left handed telescope. Hard to find indeed.
If you need a good home for it, you can send it here.I'm fairly convinced my next one, (if ever) will be an iOptron.
Congrats and ENJOY!

Believe it or not but I have a few of those elusive left handed telescopes here!

By looking at the front cover, It appears to be a 45 and not a 45 pro. Still a great deal and looks to be in nice shape.

I called and made sure. It's the 8000DP that was upgraded to the Pro from what I understand. I am amazed at how many more options are in that 8407+ hand controller than what I am used to. Now if only I can get all 359,000 objects in...
I did get it through OPT and the guy reassured me about it.

It's not a Pro. The Pro version doesn't have the DB9 serial connector on the RA electronics housing.

I think the defining characteristic of the pro was stepper motors vs the old servo motors.
So pop off a cover and see. The pro had big cube shaped steppers. The original had round servos.
