I ended up getting a CGEM DX because of the great deal OPT ran (got it for $100 with the Edge 11 HD). Love the mount, but the lack of mechanical circles is actually the thing I like the least about it. I used to use circles to do a guide star offset approach when I was a lot younger, something I enjoyed doing. Of course I can still star hop, but I always liked having circles as an option. I was set to get the Orion AZ/EQ 6 before I snagged the CGEM DX deal.  That mount has circles which actually look like they're very well designed, but I'm not sure it has Vernier scales.  I wonder how many people even know what Vernier scales are. I think most of the Orion/Skywatcher EQs actually do have circles.

The Losmandy G-11's circles are very accurately laser-engraved, and have Vernier scales on both axes. I just wish they'd include mechanical slow-motion controls as an option.
